Load Binder Free Sample – Plasma-Cut Hook with Rigging Hardware BOM
A free CAD project for the welded hook used on a ratchet load binder — the smaller companion piece to our full Ratchet Tensioner project. The hook is plasma-cut and welded from steel plate, rated for 4,0 tonnes. Note: the hook is the only custom-designed part here. It connects via a commercial omega shackle and a grade 8 connecting link, and attaches to a standard commercial ratchet strap unit — none of these three components are included in the CAD files, but their specifications are given so you can source the right hardware.
